Visual Communication

Expressing both fast and slow with the typography was so impressive.
During this semester, I have been learning that typography is good visual communication.
It is true that typography is an interested area of art.

Typography(13 week)

When I saw these works, I was very impressive.
I really hope that I will make impressive works like these.

I saw student's some works for digital exthition on Wednesday.
Works all was very excellent.
I suddenly loosed heart.....
I really liked my stroy shop logo, but, at that time, I felt that my logo looked poor.....
However, I am loving my logo and I will try to be effort constantly.

Typograpy(12 week)

I think that I don't have excellent sense to select good examples like classmates. In last reaserich time of project 4, classmate saw unity on the newsletter I brought but I had saw the colors. I learned a lot of things. Although I have such poor sense ^^, I  like this butterfly work. I like colors and flowing of the typography.

Motion Typography and Illustrate Typograpy (11 week)

1. Motion typography

I found great examples for a blog assignment of this week. This web site is in Korea so streaming is so slow. However, I recommend that you see these.


 
2. Illustrative typograpy
I drew this birthday card cover for the Boneyard Arts Festival.
I am not good to deal mac but I just wanted to participate the Festival.
I tried to make a illustrative typography.

Illustrative Typography (10 week)

We can see various works such as papergraphic, typogrphic, and graphic design in this blog.
I attached some works that I like. I love papergraphic works.
I couldn't image that a designer can make with some papers typographic works before I saw them.
So interesting!

The Flash movies (9 week)

I found a web design site.
You can see several typograpic Flash movies.
I would like to learn Flash skill.
I attached three works which I like.
If you visit a entire web site, you can see other works.

I think that this Flash movie is the best thing.
I like the sound of this work.

This work looks good.
When I was watching this work, I thought about Legibility and Readability.
Small word of the left side on dark backgroud shows legibigity, but it don't show radability.
I like it.

I think that this work and the entrance of Pakland Graphic Design web site are much alike.
Two works have different colors, but they give me similar feeling.
I like it.

I would like to learn how I can make such moving typograpy.

I think that this piece is a logo of a company.
I like the shadow of the letters.
I can feel rhythm.
I want to know that how I can make the end of the shadow to grew dim.

I like the lower parts of these pieces.
These piece look natural.
If someone make with these pieces cards, these pieces look clear and look fairly good.

I am doing my homework again.
The piece looks chic.
When I see this piece, I can feel classical beauty.
The designer of this piece made with mixing letters some shapes such as a door and a castel.
There are different size letters and different thickness letters in this piece.
I can feel far and near.
I think that useing big letter and thick letters are to look near, and useing small letters and thin letters are to look far.
I think that being serifs of the letters makes this piece to look sharp more.
I don't know the typeface name of these letters.

Before I did my homework, I thought that I don't act like a baby. ^^
I think that I have to do my work. ^^
